History:

Built in Darlington in 1938. Purchased by the DRPS in 1987 with grant aid from the Science Museum Prism Fund and restored with the help of a government Manpower Service Scheme

This spent its life working at the chemical works on West Auckland Road Darlington(covered in white dust) transferring wagons to the LNER/BR sidings on the Barnard Castle line.   

The engine is now on loan to the HopeTown Darlington Museum.
